Proud Engineers to Lead Key Analyses for the Future of Digital Learning in Estonia

We’re proud and grateful to contribute to the future of digital education in Estonia. Our goal is simple but important: to help create solutions that genuinely support both teachers and students in a rapidly evolving learning environment.

As technology accelerates in the education sector, one key question stands out — how can we ensure that teachers have access to the tools they need to fully support student growth?

To begin answering that, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Research, EdTech Estonia, and Proud Engineers gathered for a kickoff meeting at the Government Office of Estonia. This marks the start of our collaboration to carry out a series of strategic analyses. The larger aim is to develop a model for the distribution of digital learning content and management environments, along with a technical prototype that helps teachers easily find and purchase the resources they need.

Participants at the meeting shared a strong belief that this project can play a meaningful role in Estonia’s digital education journey. It will help define roles between the public and private sectors, protect teacher autonomy in a digital age, and most importantly, improve students’ access to the learning materials they need to succeed.

As part of the project, Proud Engineers will lead several key analyses:

• A business model review to map out successful approaches for distributing digital learning materials
• An administrative and feasibility assessment to explore if and how the solution could be developed and managed in cooperation with the private sector
• A legal analysis to identify the framework required for smooth operation and management
• A market overview to understand potential service providers, their willingness to collaborate, and what they need
• A payments feasibility study to evaluate possible payment options
• A technical analysis to outline the requirements for a reliable and user-friendly solution

We’re excited to get to work, and to help build something that lasts.
