Proud Engineers at RAPIDE Project Plenary in Malta: Shaping the Future of Digital Healthcare

Two inspiring days in Valletta, Malta at the annual RAPIDE Project EU plenary meeting brought together leading minds to discuss how health systems across Europe are transforming in the post-COVID era.

Representing Proud Engineers were our eHealth experts Hille Hinsberg and Igor Bossenko, who joined partners from across the continent to exchange experiences and explore practical ways to accelerate the shift toward smarter, safer digital healthcare.

The plenary was a space to learn how different countries are approaching transformation. From Malta’s investments in patient-centered services to Italy, Slovenia, and the Netherlands advancing hybrid care models, the discussions highlighted both shared challenges and innovative solutions that can be adapted across Europe.

Reflecting on the event, Hille shared:

“It was a great pleasure to take part in this in-person plenary in Valletta! Beyond project updates, the agenda was packed with insights into health system transformations in Malta, Italy, Slovenia and the Netherlands. We are happy to contribute with advice on digital health adoption that truly works for people.”

At Proud Engineers, we believe that digital tools in healthcare should be designed not only for efficiency but also for trust, usability, and real-world impact. Events like RAPIDE provide the opportunity to align those principles with European partners and ensure that innovation in digital health truly serves people across borders.
