Your strategic partners in the journey to digital society

Proud Engineers is a specialist consulting team focused on digital transformation across sectors. We’re deliberately small, which makes us flexible, human-centred, and open in how we work.

We work globally with governments and corporations to design secure, compliant digital solutions that enhance trust and accessibility in digital ecosystems.

Who are we?

We are a dedicated team of renowned experts in our chosen fields.

The first CIO of the Republic of Estonia? The legal mastermind behind the world’s first Data Embassy? The CTO that took Skype to new heights? All here under one roof. At your disposal.

Architects of your digital transformation

Even grand designs need structure. At Proud Engineers, I support our team across everything we take on, making sure everyone can focus on their work. Alongside that, I’ve kept my legal expertise sharp – especially in eID and trust services. Engineers build the future, lawyers shape the rules. I work at the intersection of both.
Working at the intersection of law, tech, and delivery means turning complexity into something actionable. My role is to bring clarity, focus, and just enough structure to help teams deliver smarter and faster.
Experienced in designing and leading complex systems – from government infrastructure to global-scale software. Focus areas include system architecture, public speaking, and the craft of building software. I bring clarity and structure to ambitious digital transformation efforts.
Deep into eID and trust services, with a focus on turning regulations and standards – like eIDAS, ETSI, and ISO – into practical, secure solutions. I combine technical expertise with hands-on product management and have led countless workshops to help teams navigate the complexities of digital identity and trust frameworks.
Proud to bridge policy and digital. For over 15 years, I’ve helped governments design open, efficient services and data-driven workflows. Experience at the OECD, think tanks, and international networks has shaped my approach to digital transformation – grounded in public value and real-world impact.
As a legal expert, I am dealing with a wide range of topics including electronic identity, privacy and data protection, interoperability and so much more. I thoroughly enjoy finding a shared understanding between IT experts and lawyers to ask the right questions and find the right answers as well.
I make health data talk. As a solution architect, I focus on interoperability – making sure systems work together seamlessly. From HL7 FHIR to open-source tools like TermX and FHIREST, I help turn complex standards into real-world solutions that improve digital healthcare.
I break down complexity. With experience in service design, user research, entrepreneurship, law, and governance, I’m driven by a clear goal: making complex things easier to grasp and work with.
Seasoned entrepreneur and advisor, I’m obsessed with value creation. I cut through the noise, pinpoint real user needs, and shape products that pay for themselves. From first sketch to launch, I ask one question: will this move the needle for users and the bottom line?
More than a decade in marketing has taught me how to turn strategy into impact. From brand building to crisis comms, I shape clear narratives and make sure the right people hear them. My focus is on strategic planning, digital marketing, and making sure every resource is used wisely.
I advocate for the user. I make sure that each decision and action is evaluated, above everything else, from the user’s perspective. Only then will technical, organizational, and business considerations come in.
I thrive on ideas that make a real difference. Incremental change doesn’t move me. I put my time and skills into projects that make life a whole lot better. Does it have a serious positive impact on society? That’s a pretty good litmus test.
